MERU TREKKING
Mount Meru 4565 meters
6 Days/ 5 Nights
Day 1:
On
arrival in Kilimanjaro International Airport you will be met and
transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is at your leisure.
Please note this is an arrival day and you may arrive at any time
In the evening there is a briefing on the trek. At this time you
will also receive your personal trek bag. This trek bag will contain
a kit bag that your porter will carry, an appropriate sleeping bag,
sleep sheet and down jacket. You will need to transfer your other
possessions into this bag. You will be able to leave your normal
traveling bag and any excess luggage at base hotel to be collected
upon your return.
DAY 2: The
climb start from Momella Gate to Mariakamba Hut takes 3 hrs for
dinner and overnight.
DAY 3: After
breakfast depart to the second hut Saddle Hut takes 4 hrs climb
little Meru 3821m back for dinner and overnight.
DAY 4:Early
morning climb the big Meru 4565m back to Mariakamba Hut for dinner
and overnight.
DAY 5: After
break fast 8.00 descend down to Momella gate meet transport with
open roof to Arusha NationalPark for game drive half day then back
to the Hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 6:
You will be transferred
by your private vehicle to the airport for departure. You can book
this transfer at any time depending your flight schedule. Or we can
arrange Safari /Beach holiday / Cultural Tourism |
